Lock horns with your inner creative beast and become entangled in creative craft. You won’t have to struggle, because the Deer Half Mask takes much less time that its larger cousin and is just as beautiful.

Half Masks leave the back of a human head exposed and can be made in less time, using less materials than the Full Masks. All you need is a bit of ribbon or elastic for a headband and you’ll be ready to go for a quick and easy build. The Half Mask is a great option for first-time builders, kids or for when you need a Mask-on-the-go. We hope you enjoy the build as much as the finished Mask.

  • This Deer Half Mask enables one to build quickly, then run free from the hang-ups of daily life and frolic in the fields of expressive joy with herds of like-minded horn heads. Just don’t get caught in the headlights.

  • Simply print the templates on paper, stick them to card, cut them out, match the numbers and join the tabs together. The Mask is scaled to fit an adult but you can make children's masks by scaling down the templates when you print - check our FAQ page for details. The templates come with instructions for an internal head band that can be adjusted by moving the fixing points to get a snug fit. Some templates are supplied with component colour guides to help you create identifiable markings unique to the Mask.

    • Supplied as an instant access PDF that you can download and print on any home printer
    • Choose to build with tape or gluing tabs
    • Robust polygon construction to survive the wildest of parties
    • Ideal for festivals, parties, special events or simply for fun

Hi Camilo, Thanks for your message and I’m sorry to hear that you are having difficulty attaching the antlers. I should be able to talk you through the process. I’ve taken one apart photographed the parts and emailed them to you. The important thing to realise when building the antlers is that the parts overlap. Once you have joined the first parts the rest should all make sense. Have a look at the images in your inbox and let me know if this helps, if not well try something else. You can always ask us if you get stuck and we'll be happy to help any time. Kind regards, Fletch

    Awesome!

Whenever I need a mask for anything this is the first place I'll go! The mask was super easy and fun to make, and the finished product looks professional (which I am not). My only complaint would be that you can see the numbers on the antlers, but that was easily fixed by gluing the spare card over them. All in all, super happy with my mask!

Hi Ben. Thank you for building our masks and sharing your experience. The original Stag had enclosed antlers, but building such small enclosed shapes was very tricky and not at all fun, so Steve redesigned the antlers this way. Gluing panels over the shapes is spot on though and we're glad to hear that you enjoyed the build. Let us know if we can help anytime and have fun on future builds. - Fletch

    Looks fantastic

This looks great. It certainly took my towards the upper end of the time estimate, and I struggled to figure out the small additions to the antlers in the end (not sure i ever got it actually right). I've completed the full head dog-mask once but that's the limit of my experience. However it still looks great and I'd highly recommend this one. Everyone is very impressed (albeit over zoom!)

Hi Jessica, Fletch from Wintercroft here. Thank you for building our masks and for the feedback. Generally anything with horns or tentacles is more challenging, particularly for a first time builder, the good news is that now you know the process, it'll be much easier next time around. Let us know if you ever need anything anytime and have fun on future builds. All the best, Fletch
