With a craft knife, double sided tape, cardboard and patience I was able to make this super badger mask for World Book day. My son wanted to go as Badger in Wind in the Willows. It took me about 3 hrs in total over a couple of evenings. My son was delighted as everyone loved his mask.
Brilliant! Well done Sophie, your son's costume looks amazing.

I will come back here every year! I glued heavy paper to a thin fur fabric. Elmers glue. And not the tabs. And modified this mask to make a Pokémon head! I then glued on demon horns which I also got from this website and modified those!
Wow Miriam! Amazing Pokemon build! Thank you for sharing your experience. Let us know if we can help any time and have a blast on future projects. All the best, Fletch
Xmas agreement to make something for each other. These masks worked a treat ... and will live on for a long time yet. Making the mask templates (5 nos.) took longer than expected (say 2-3 hours each) ... this was may job. But the peace and concentration as the family then assembled them was to die for. As was their joy as the animals revealed themselves (... them not knowing beforehand what they'd got). Loved it. And they're so much more intricate and sculptural than I thought they'd be. Might well be back for more!
Wow Nigel! Thank you for the brilliant review, photo and activity suggestion. Love the Mystery Pieces family activity idea. In fact, we have a post scheduled tomorrow that you might enjoy;) Keep in touch, let us know if you ever need anything and have fun on future builds. All the best, Fletch
The part of the mask that are supposed to be folded (the dash-dotted lines if I am not wrong) should be marked with a small crossed line already so we dont have to mark them with pen as the tutorial so it results in less time in assembling the mask which can take hours, Thank you.
