Scaling Up - The Great Big Dragon Build

Wow. We never cease to be amazed by the innovations, interpretations and in this case ambitions of our builder community. Justin Eyre of John Hampden Primary School in Thame took on the Herculean – or I should say Arthurian – task of building a larger-than-life Dragon ripping out of a castle. This project was for his students’ King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table-themed entry in their local carnival. Needless to say… more than a few heads were turned and thankfully none were bitten off.

Here, we see each key stage of the more-than-fifteen-hour build. Justin cleverly scaled up our templates and used leftover recycled card from previous art projects to build the castle, dragon, head and claws. Top marks for Justin and his students.
