Camazotz the Death Bat
DIGITAL DOWNLOAD
Our version of the ancient Mayan “Death Bat” deity came about from the 2019 Creature Competition winning suggestion. Taigo Noid gave a colourfully detailed proposal in the comments describing a “god or vampire-like creature called Camazotz”. Headdresses and masks inspired by ancient cultures were a bit of a theme this year, so Steve was excited to design his own vision of the Death Bat, while still retaining some of the beautiful traditional aesthetic from stone carvings of the time.
Our Headdresses rest comfortably on a human head. Headdresses vary in build time and complexity, scroll down for further details. You will be amazed by the experience of watching your Headdress come together as each component is joined. We hope you enjoy the build as much as the finished piece.

The Headdresses are inspired by animals, anatomy, ancient cultures and ceremonial dress. Why not decorate further with the FEATHERS OF HERAKON? Adorn your amazing headpiece with these magic elements. It's whispered that those who wear the Feathers of Herakon may enter the Fleshless Forest and join the great fire dance.
