One hand controls the head and moving jaw, while a loose fabric covering hides you from view.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe effect is simple but surprisingly convincing. Stay hidden beside the door, bring the head through low, turn it toward whoever is outside, then let the creature rise above them.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eI designed it particularly with trick-or-treaters in mind. There’s something I really like about opening the front door and having the Guest appear instead of you.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe structure is built mainly from single-wall corrugated cardboard, with thinner card used for some of the coloured components. Reclaimed packaging works well, so most of the main structure can be made from material you may already have at home.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eYou’ll also need a lightweight dark fabric for the covering.
