Who would have ever gassed that the filtration of filthy air could be so stylish? This is functional fashion at its aesthetic and utilitarian paramount. I will go ahead and interrupt my own whacky product description by saying that this half mask will not save you from harmful fumes in real life.
Half Masks leave the back of a human head exposed and can be made in less time, using less materials than the Full Masks. All you need is a bit of ribbon or elastic for a headband and you’ll be ready to go for a quick and easy gasmask build. The Half Mask is a great option for first-time builders, kids or for when you need a Mask-on-the-go. We hope you enjoy the build as much as the finished Mask.
You get two-for-one by not only keeping the unwashed essence of the filthy at bay, but also looking like a total trend setter while doing it. This lovely lung filter is also a great change-up for those that usually don our Doctor Mask. It keeps bad airs out in the same way, while providing the wearer with a more modern creepy look. Win-win…
Simply print the templates on paper, stick them to card, cut them out, match the numbers and join the tabs together. The Mask is scaled to fit an adult but you can make children's masks by scaling down the templates when you print - check our FAQ page for details. The templates come with instructions for an internal head band that can be adjusted by moving the fixing points to get a snug fit. Some templates are supplied with component colour guides to help you create identifiable markings unique to the Mask.
Very easy to make
I love this mask I’m making a pair for me and my husband I haven’t decided on a paint job but I can’t wait to wear them I love all of the Wintercroft paper templates they rule!!!
This one is as easy and fun to make as all the other masks I have done. I really like making wintercroft masks. :)
This is my seventh build from Wintercroft. It was the most challenging because of all the tiny tabs and its conical shape. If you have large hands and messy glue, good luck :) Still fun to see it all come together. I’ve built 6 of my 7 masks during the “lockdown,” and I plan on making more.
We have done a few Winterxroft masks and this one is really good. It’s quite hard - we are still relative beginners - but it’s great fun to make and the result is cool. However one small criticism- we could still smell the dogs farts whilst wearing it.
