Whether you’re a practitioner of pyromancy or looking to lead a congregation through the fiery fields of the nether, you’ll need a fitting headpiece to transfix onlookers into your wallowing horde. With imposing, spectacular spiralled horns protruding from your skull, no one will question your authority and live to tell the tale.
Our Full Masks completely encase one human head and can be custom-fitted with the internal headband included in the template. Full Masks vary in build time and complexity, scroll down for further details. You will be amazed by the experience of watching your Mask come together as each component is joined. We hope you enjoy the build as much as the finished Mask.
Our No Poly Enchanter's Skull is a complete departure from previous papercraft designs. The satisfaction of joining the tabbed seems and watching the smooth curvature take form needs to be experienced to be believed. The close fit and weighted balance achieved by the horns feels incredible to wear. After all, a comfortable Enchanter can conjure higher flames.
Simply print the templates on paper, stick them to card, cut them out, match the numbers and join the tabs together. The Mask is scaled to fit an adult but you can make children's masks by scaling down the templates when you print - check our FAQ page for details. The templates come with instructions for an internal head band that can be adjusted by moving the fixing points to get a snug fit. Some templates are supplied with component colour guides to help you create identifiable markings unique to the Mask.
Just enjoyed the challenge. Printed directly onto the card and found to my surprise the random selection of colours produced an almost symmetrical result. Mainly because the LH & RH horn parts are on the same page, really please with the result. May add a bit of colour to Whitby Krampus Run this year.
Loved making this mask, although it took the longest of any so far (I've made about 15 so far). I guess it's bigger than the animal skull masks and has more pieces. I traced round the pattern pieces rather than gluing them to the card. It was no slower than gluing, and removed the risk of delaminating (earlier ones I've made have had this issue). I used white 300 GSM card which was easy to work with yet strong enough for purpose. PVA was perfect for the final assembly as it gripped quickly while still allowing for some adjustments, it's strong & permanent (unlike Aussie glue sticks), and doesn't smell weird when wearing the mask. Overall a beautifully designed mask that's satisfying to make and comfortable to wear!
I got this as a costume for my schools Halloween day. Spend a while putting it together out of thick card paper and it worked perfectly! Added some black mesh to cover the eyes and mouth for extra creepiness and some pads inside the mask for comfort so it didn’t move on my head at all. Amazing patters and i highly recommended it to my friends who also got some designs. Will be coming back for all my mask needs.
My 10-yr old enjoyed putting this together, though it was a challenge at times. This is the third design he built, each more difficult than the last. He pushed through, though, and is very happy. The extra effort was worth it.
Hi Stephanie. Fletch from Wintercroft here. Thank you for sharing your experience. Sounds like your son had fun building the masks. If you or he are ever stuck, just let us know or send a photo of the issue area and we'll be happy to assist anytime. All the best, Fletch
Made this for Halloween in Ireland and it was a big hit! Learning curve wasn’t too high, though tricky in parts. Pay attention to the type of card you choose to use - mine was a little heavy and so didn’t bend as readily as needed.
Hi Peter, Thank you for the lovely feedback. We hope you enjoy future builds and if you use 300gsm card, it'll work a treat ;) Looks great in any case. All the best, Fletch
