CHOOSE JUST THE HEAD OR ADD SOME CLAWS

DIGITAL DOWNLOAD

Why are Dragons always happy? Because no matter where they are, a warm meal is likely to present itself. Dragons are an important link in the food chain. They have no natural predators and can fly around the world in no time, sporadically swooping down for a snack of villagers. You can do the same with this amazing Full Mask.

The Dragon head alone makes for an intimidating outfit but why not commence your reign of terror in style by adding a set of Claws - as seen in the images. From the options above choose just the Mask or add the Claws to complete your costume.

Our Full Masks completely encase one human head and can be custom-fitted with the internal headband included in the template. Full Masks vary in build time and complexity, scroll down for further details. You will be amazed by the experience of watching your Mask come together as each component is joined. We hope you enjoy the build as much as the finished Mask.

  • Occasionally, a Dragon might pop the top off a high-rise when they are particularly famished for an extra bit of sustenance. This is essential for population control and keeps the infestation of humans down to sustainable levels. One can think of Dragons as Mother Nature’s not-so-little helpers.

  • Simply print the templates on paper, stick them to card, cut them out, match the numbers and join the tabs together. The Mask is scaled to fit an adult but you can make children's masks by scaling down the templates when you print - check our FAQ page for details. The templates come with instructions for an internal head band that can be adjusted by moving the fixing points to get a snug fit. Some templates are supplied with component colour guides to help you create identifiable markings unique to the Mask.

    • Supplied as an instant access PDF that you can download and print on any home printer
    • Choose to build with tape or gluing tabs
    • Robust polygon construction to survive the wildest of parties
    • Ideal for festivals, parties, special events or simply for fun

    Dragon of Wantley

The Dragon of Wantley (Wortley) now appears with Mr Fox on the Night of the Hunters Moon. Three attempts at making the mask to get a working model. Final version, scaled up the mask, printed on to paper and then glued onto card. Covered with modeling plaster and then covered with shiny material. Installed fire guard in the mouth. Led flashing lights in the eyes and cycle helmet straps to hold it on.

    What a great resource

This mask was a lifesaver. It's Bookweek and you child wants to go as a dragon. I was already imagining trying to bend a bunch of paper mache to my will when I came across this site. Not technically difficult, if you can use scissors and stickytape and you've got a little time up your sleve you can get a good result.

    Perfect!

Made this for book day, resized at 90% was just a touch big for my 10 year old. Came together beautifully. I’d love to see a numbered diagram of the finished product to help with multi coloured card use. I had to make it first with paper to figure out which bits should be which colour. Also a SVG write/cut file would be an amazing addition if at all possible for those of us that have at-home plot machines.

Wow, what an amazing dragon costume! Thank you for sharing your experience and your feedback. We had considered adding numbered diagrams but find there is something wonderful about how a pile of cardboard shapes transforms into a 3D mask. We decided that you'd lose some of that magic if you knew what everything was before you start. I will look at it again as we could include it as an additional page for those who want it. SVG files are another one that we've given a lot of thought to. So far, we haven't released SVGs, but it is something that we are planning a trial run of. Thanks again for your suggestions, and I'm pleased that you all had fun with your dragon.
