Someone left the stable door open… and now we’ve got trouble in the barnyard. Trouble in the trees… glowing peepers scour the earth from deep-set Sclerotic rings.
Half Masks leave the back of a human head exposed and can be made in less time, using less materials than the Full Masks. All you need is a bit of ribbon or elastic for a headband and you’ll be ready to go for a quick and easy build. The Half Mask is a great option for first-time builders, kids or for when you need a Mask-on-the-go. We hope you enjoy the build as much as the finished Mask.
The eyes of the Owl are only looking for one thing… the scurrying of a potential meal. Hunger’s ancient indifference to cute furry things puppeteers the night prowler’s swift master stroke. Fate is swift… and built time is swifter.
Simply print the templates on paper, stick them to card, cut them out, match the numbers and join the tabs together. The Mask is scaled to fit an adult but you can make children's masks by scaling down the templates when you print, check our FAQ page for details. The templates come with instructions for an internal head band that can be adjusted by moving the fixing points to get a snug fit. Some templates are supplied with component colour guides to help you create identifiable markings unique to the Mask.
I volunter as a tutoring nanny for troubled kids, who need incentive to do schoolwork, and I use your masks to make Creative pauses when needed to keep their attention. It works!
Fantastic mask, a bit smaller than I was expecting but it’s great. We made one with silver mirrored card and it looks great
If you're into Harry Potter .... this made the perfect Hedwig for my Great Nephew (he's still to receive it at Christmas). Had a little trouble thinking of a way to reinforce the holes for the elastic as a child pulling this on and off will soon wreck it ! (used pieces of duct-tape, then punched the hole). Also planning to line it with layers of paper/glue to make it a little more sturdy. Hedwig isn't any good for anyone with an alergy to feathers !!!
Hi Margaret, Fletch here. Thank you for building Hedwig with our mask! Looks great and fantastic to hear that you'll be gifting it for Christmas. We've found that paper mache on the inside of the masks helps fortify the structure as well ;) Let us know if we can help anytime and have fun on future builds. All the best, Fletch
I love how it is, and very easy to build
Really happy with these for a children’s community performance under an old oak tree
Wow! These photos are amazing - thank you for sharing these incredible masks and it is lovely to hear about the production being under an old oak tree. Let us know if we can help anytime and have fun on future mask projects. All the best, Fletch
